According to The Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds’ Samuel Saiz is subject to interest from Getafe CF – the La Liga outfit are keen to take the Spaniard back across the channel in January.
The 27-year-old – a £3m signing from Huesca in 2017 – is apparently desperate to make a return to Spanish football as soon as possible having become unsettled at Elland Road.
Having made 19 Championship appearances for the Peacocks this season, the want-away midfielder has failed to find the net as of yet and has teed up teammates just three times – astonishing considering he netted five and chalked up eight assists last year.
Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa recently criticised the playmaker for his underwhelming performances, saying, “I expect from him the capacity to beat an opponent and I hope he gets this back”.
