THE BIGGER PICTURE
The prospect of scheduling top-flight league games abroad is not new, but this would mark the first time a Serie A fixture has been moved to a different country, as well as a different continent. However, Fabregas is not pleased by the prospect of having to travel to Australia, with key Serie A matches surrounding the long journey there and back.

WHAT CESC FABREGAS SAID
He told reporters: "It's something that's never happened before, that says it all. People like this can't experience football, and we have Fiorentina first and Atalanta after. It doesn't seem like the right thing to do, but it doesn't worry me too much at the moment; the club is dealing with it."

WHAT NEXT FOR COMO?
After finishing 10th upon their return to Serie A last season, Como have been extremely active in the transfer market. So far this summer, Fabregas has brought in Jesus Rodriguez, Martin Baturina, Nicolas Kuhn and Jayden Addai, while they completed the permanent signing of Maxime Perrone. However, Fabregas admitted they still need a striker and two central defenders.
